SET UP AND USE CORE WEB TO ACCESS YOUR LEDGER AVALANCHE (AVAX) ACCOUNT

If you’ve some AVAX in your Ledger wallet that you want to access, this article will show you how to access your Ledger Avalanche (AVAX) account using Core web.

To fix this

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

1. Ledger Live for Windows 10/11
2. Ledger Live for MAC
3. Ledger Live for Android

• Update the firmware of your Ledger Nano to the latest version.
• Update the Avalanche app installed in your Ledger device to the latest version.
• Close the Ledger Live app before accessing your Avalanche Wallet to avoid conflict between the apps.

Install the AVAX app on your Ledger device

If you don’t have the AVAX app installed on your Ledger device. Here’s how you can do it.

• Open the Ledger Live app
• Go to My Ledger in Ledger Live.
• Connect and unlock your Ledger device. If asked, allow My Ledger to access your device.
• Find Avalanche in the app catalog in Ledger Live.
• Click the Install button of the app next to it.
• Wait for the installation process to complete.
• Now you’ve successfully installed the AVAX app on your Ledger device.

Access your Ledger Avalanche account(s) through Core web

• Connect your Ledger device to the computer.
• Open the Avalanche app on your Ledger device.
• Visit the Core web website and click on Connect wallet.
• Choose Wallet Connect. Click on Ledger from the list of options.
• Wait for a pop-up to display. Click on open Ledger Live.

• Verify the details of the connection in Ledger Live and click on Accept if everything is correct.

• Go back to the browser. You should be connected to your Avalanche account.
