Pentagon Tests ‘Drone Swarm’ Super Weapon
War Is Boring

This is just a test on a small scale in numbers but mostly in the size of the eventual drones if I had to take an educated guess. The combat-ready drones may very well be 4+ times the size and carry either fixed larger anti-personal weapons and/or fixed shaped charges for lightly armored vehicles to be deployed by larger stealthier aircraft with larger stand-off distances. In contested environments, I could easily see them spread out over a 2 mile+ radius with maybe 200 yards in between them to make them considerably harder to shoot down.
