Streamr is pleased to announce the hiring of Amandine Flachs as the project’s new community manager. Working alongside Shiv Malik, Streamr’s Head of Communications, Flachs will be dealing with on and offline events and moderation on Streamr’s numerous social platforms. Her main goal will be to ensure that the needs of Streamr’s vibrant and fast-growing community are met.
“I am really excited to be joining the team and to get involved in such a promising and game-changing project,” Flachs says. “For the past few days, I have been observing the community and can’t wait to meet our very active supporters. My objective is to bring people together and ensure we give our community the support it wants by providing answers and helping to explain our vision to the outside world.”
A perfect fit for the communications team
Flachs joins from the Golem project where she ran community relations for several months as interim community manager. She has years of previous experience in social community management, operates her own independent tech start up consultancy, and spent more than half a decade working in the field of virtual reality.
Speaking about her appointment, Malik said: “Amandine is such a professional. Having worked with her briefly before, it’s brilliant to be back on the same team. She’s incredibly efficient, driven and always manages to achieve results in a short period of time. Remarkably Amandine not only knows community relations, she’s also a long time crypto miner, a junior coder and is passionate about raising the profile of women in tech. I don’t doubt she’ll be warmly welcomed by Streamr’s community.
Henri Pihkala, Streamr’s CEO and founder added, “I welcome Amandine to the team. Her skills and knowledge were invaluable during our inaugural Reddit AMA a few days ago. I’m also really glad to see our communications team build up its expertise and capacity in just over a month.”
