In the second video of the Sterling arrest can you see that the police officers are upset after the shooting? No one is happy about how that encounter went down. No one. It is simply tragic.
Across the nation, can you see multitudes of law enforcement personnel with black skin? About 58,000 black or African American officers were
employed by local police departments in 2013. Can you see white faces in the crowd of BLM protesters or in the comments section below?
The entire nation is suffering from mass hysteria and moral panic. The only cure is time and facts.
Time will pass, but the facts you’ll have to search for because they are pesky and problematic to find in today’s gossip, hearsay, and urban legend fueled social media world.
Here’s proof of what I’m saying: Some of the things you have in your mind that feel like facts about the Sterling arrest are wrong. Flatly wrong. He wasn’t shot in the head. His right hand was free in the struggle.
You can’t state that you watched the video (and you certainly should not be describing it to a wider audience) if you hold both those assumptions as facts. That’s not shown in the video, and it’s not in the coroner’s report. He was armed and his right hand was free.
YOU WERE MISLED.
That’s what we should all be angry and upset about.
