The Movies of 2017

Total (including repeats): 200!

Not gonna lie, the last 10 or so of these movies were watched in the last 3 days. I watched 4 movies on New Year’s Eve alone. When I realized how close I was to 200, I just decided to go for it.

And for 2018, I’m raising the stakes. For the entire year, I’ll be keeping a “media diary”, very similar to the “Seen, Read” lists that writer/director Steven Soderbergh releases each year. I’ll keep a record of every movie, book, play, screenplay, short story, TV episodes, video game, podcast episodes, and music album that I see, read, and hear in 2018. I won’t do a list of every individual song I hear, because that would be too much. Be on the lookout in one year (yeah right) for my “Seen, Read, and Heard” list!

Like what you read? Give John-Michael Jalonen a round of applause.

From a quick cheer to a standing ovation, clap to show how much you enjoyed this story.
