Agreed. Much of the difficult work in debate is first trying to cull out all the logical fallacies so one can see if there’s any meaty content left to debate. If such tags existed they would help inform people of all the various fallacies they employ. 2016 seemed to be the year which popularized “false equivalence”. 2017 seems to be popularizing “to quoque” or “whataboutism”. Ad hominem continues and takes on so many forms it’s tough for people to know when they are using it.
