I still don’t get why there is a need to run “encrypted” transactions — that is, anonymous. Unless, that is,yer messing with serious state-level intelligence, child porn, cheating on school exams, transacting cracked software — illegal stuff.
Twice my bank, Ally, called me, once on a Sunday, to inform me their security dept. had detected suspicious activity on my debit card. One was in Ireland, the other s.e. Asia. The card was blocked by Ally for both transactions. Didn’t lose a cent. “The purchase pattern does not match yours,” a customer servicer told me, “and we wanted to confirm whether or not you bought this shirt from a store in Jakarta?”
My card, by the way, was hacked these two times thru Ebay,
This is what I like, how I want it, need it to be. I’m sure I’m missing something — am a dummy after all — but unless blockchain can be used to install and maintain One Person = One Vote (in the USA), for example, I’m out.
