Twitter is the definition of “meme”. The character limit on “tweets” almost guarantees that the thing will hit the ground running, as far as memorable goes. Tweets are born as “memes”. This factor is as important, I think, as the magnitude of this medium’s reach. But, and I think it’s good news, quantity changes quality, and tweets for their sheer numbers are dust in the wind.
