Rajat Aroraa and his passion for taking the road less travelled.
On Bollywood’s master storyteller, Rajat Aroraa’s Birthday, I asked my Twitter followers to tell me their favourite dialogues from his films. It was a surprise to see that not only people remembered most of the dialogues they also described the scenes as if they just saw the film yesterday.
The secret of his popularity lies in the simplicity of his stories. Whether it’s Sultan Mirza or Silk he manages to get us emotionally connected to the characters. Each and every scene has high adrenaline dialogues which help us in knowing the characters in detail.
In this scene from “Once upon a time in Mumbai”,we have a fearless Shoaib who is not afraid of speaking his mind. There is Sultan Mirza who is not impressed with just words and wants to check his fighting spirit.

In just 4 minutes Sultan Mirza manages to tame a rebellious Shoaib and takes him under his wing.
“Aaj ke baad tu sirf wohi bolega jo main sunna chahta hoon”
What a perfect scene. It’s complete in itself and also arouses our curiosity on what’s going to come next.
Rajat Aroraa stories weave magic on the screen and we can’t wait enough for his next, Baadshaho.
“Happy Birthday, Sir”. Stay blessed.
