This Is a Weird Time for Amy Schumer to Write a Book

Ms. Zoladz,

As for Amy Schumer’s issues with plagiarism, I wouldn’t assume you know the half of it … or necessarily agree with this post that you’re about to read.

If you’ve ever been trolling her Twitter page at all, maybe you know something about my beef with her at this point. Admittedly, I’ve been hounding her for over a year about this. Amy Schumer has since blocked my other Twitter accounts, but not the one with @MaidNotForYou for whatever reason.

MaidNotForYou.com is a site where I discuss how Amy Schumer hacked from my book when writing her some of her jokes, screenplay for Trainwreck, and her book as well. Not necessarily beat for beat per say, but close enough if I know my book and how I write.

It may not mean much to you or most on SM, but I’m (still) hoping SOMEONE will try to imagine what it’s like to have this happen to him/her as a self published author outside of media with hardly any means to promote her book outside of SM…anonymously at that. I’ve only told ONE person about this, and from what it seems to me, he’s completely in agreement with me after reading my book (earlier on) and reading my booksite just recently. Maybe, he’s just trying to empathize with me … maybe I’m dead wrong and purely delusional. I’ve second guess this MANY timess. But if you happen to check out the site, please try to imagine how you would react to this situation if you were in my shoes….and basically all by yourself. To be even more candid, I sort of feel like this is a nightmare and tragedy that I’ll have to get over eventually … it’s not like it’s cancer … but I worked on this book of mine for years without selling much at all. And that’s fine, since it may suck to most who’d ever check it out. That’s purely my own issue. But there’s this: There’s a bit of history between myself, Twitter, and Amy Schumer that began in late 2014. It’s on MaidNotForYou.com as well.
