That’s a fair point. The Spurs definitely got smaller as the series went along (they weren’t playing Kyle Anderson at start of the series), but they were also able to keep Pau and LMA on the floor together for large stretches, which I didn’t expect they would be able too. I think it comes down to the lack of size on the perimeter for Houston. They were going 6–1, 6–3, 6–5 for most of the game and that’s tough when you have undersized bigs as well. You are right, though. There’s no reason to give excuses for how the Rockets played. That was terrible.
