They are usually the fastest and most skilled players on the floor. The difference now is the emphasis on versatility at every level in the game. Bigger wings are learning PG skills at a younger age, and everyone, no matter how big they are, is learning how to dribble, shoot and pass on the perimeter. One thing that is interesting to note is that only two teams have won a title in the last 30 years with a PG as their best player — the Pistons with Isaiah Thomas and the Warriors with Steph Curry.
