Never Apologize For Who You Are

One of the greatest single challenges many people face in life is a deep almost subconscious sense that they are NOT ok. It takes many forms but at its root is a deep sense of not being enough or being a problem or desperately wanting to be different.

I get it. We all want to be different in some way but this issue is a big problem.

We all do dumb stuff and we all need to ask for forgiveness from time to time but you must fight hard against any sense that you need to apologize for who you are.

You are meant to be here. You bring something into the world that no other human person ever can or ever will. You are as significant and necessary as the stars or the oceans or the presidents or movie stars or ‘influencers’ that are thrust into our field of view all day, every day. You matter.

So, my friend, as you read these words, please take a moment to look into your heart and ask yourself if you’re guilty of doing this. Deep in your heart do you feel you need to be different to be loved or significant? It’s a lie. Talk back to it. Kick its ass. Take it personally. Then get back out there and keep bringing your very unique brand of kick-assery into the world. We need what only you can bring.
