The Canned Food Drive

The food drive finally happened on Tuesday and boy was it a day of events. not everything went according to plan but it wasnt a huge failure either. starting the day off on a 2 hour delay really didnt help, but we still collected a lot of cans (dont have an exact number yet). Shelby and I went down to the shelter and help stock some things that were already there since ours hadnt arrived yet (thanks mother nature). on our way in we bumped j to the mayor, who had to run for a busy day, but we got a chance to talk to him for about 5 minutes and we got his phone number for future contact. A lot of pictures were taken and videos shot of all the items being collected (see below). the process didnt play out exactly as we had olanned and intended but overall it was a great expoerence that worked out really well for everyone!
