Very good job pointing out the stigma that many people associate with homelessness. People need to be constantly reminded that a lot of the stereotypes associated with the homeless do not exemplify their reality or history.

Just some additional information: at SJSU, and I am I might be wrong but not by much, there are about 300 to 500 students who are homeless. They are “invisible” because they use on-campus facilities to clean up, so you wouldn’t know it even if they were next to you unless they told you. Also, there is group of students on campus trying to get an initiative passed so homeless students can be helped, I might be able to get you in contact with them if you would like.
