This is brilliant, Amy! I’ve thought about this several times as I’ve noticed these expectations from others and sometimes even myself, unfortunately. Men dominate this industry so forcefully that when you encounter a woman you tend to expect so much more out of them since they already stand out solely as a result of their gender.
