I Don’t Really Believe in “Work-Life Balance”

Great piece that k hope you’ll expand later. Truth of the matter is, the “work-life balance” is kind of a new thing. In the early days of our nation, when farmers and ranchers, and miners, were pacing way for the country and way of life we know today. Farmer Bill didn’t sit at the bar on Friday nit and say to Farmer Ted, “you know Ted, this whole rancher thing isn’t working out, my home life is really suffering from all the efforts in my work life.” It just didn’t happen. So why all of a sudden are we afraid to allow our work to come near our home life. I’m blender and it sounds like you are too. A mentor I used to have Jamie Hepp tipped me off to this theory and it’s one I like to expose to young hard working adults who think they need to divide themselves. Keep working hard!
