I’m not trying to defend this person, only provide insight. I wonder if it’s possible that this person is autistic. As in some of the tweets that were linked he mentions being lonely and friendless and a “social fuckup”.

I am an autistic person myself and have struggled with loneliness and friendlessness. One thing that is part of autism is easily becoming obsessed with things (things, hobbies, even people). I have struggled with this with my own autism. And I’m just kind of wondering if this person is in the same situation (although he really takes it to the “next level”)

Of course, it’s also possible that he’s not autistic. Again, I’m just trying to provide my own thoughts and insight.
