Great article. Agree completely — most things we see today really don’t need to be on the blockchain. Just because something can use blockchain, doesn’t mean it should. If the benefits of the blockchain enhance its ability to perform, great. But if you’ve simply swapped a database and user account for blockchain and public keys… then you really haven’t created something great. You might as well have switch mysql for postgresql and called it revolutionary. Only ideas the require or are significantly enhanced by the benefits of the technology such as public ledgers and ownership of digital assets make sense.
