A $2,000,000 Dinner Experience
The other day I was dreaming of what a $2,000,000 dinner would be like. So I did some research and found out it exist. At least it will anyways. However this wont be for just anyone. World of Diamonds Group from Russia will be celebrating its 15 year partnership with Cé La Vi Singapore. It was launched by L Capital Asia which is a private equity firm in Asia Sponsored by (LVMH) Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy.
There will be no compromise during this experience. This will be the most luxurious expensive and culinary experience in the world. This will be a one of a kind exclusive dinner experience for only two. You will be able to choose between a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a penthouse, or a dinner. The Director of the WOD Group, states, “CÉ LA VI is a diamond in the sky. This could be the ultimate proposal, an exceptional occasion, or simply a celebration of life”. — Mr. Karan Tilani.
There will be an 8 hour retreat that begins with a sea, land and air journey. The helicopter ride will las 45 minutes and promises to give a unique view of Singapore. Next will be a you and your guest chauffeured in a Rolls-Royce, proceeded by a private cruise. As the sun starts to set on the horizon, you will go to the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. The entire floor will be is reserved for only you. You will be surrounded by roughly 10,000 roses which the aroma will welcome you the moment you enter along with a 360 degree view. Your meal will consist of a Gourmet Gastronomic culinary 18 Course Modern Asian menu.
They are calling this meal a private culinary journey. So what is on the meal? Here is the menu I obtained:
Fresh Belon Oyster with Champagne foam
Almas Caviar, Jamón Ibérico
Gewürztraminer-Poached Foie Gras
Veal Liver
Lamb Sweetbread
Bresse Poulet Consommé
Striped Seabass
Air-Flown Alaska Wild Salmon
Verjus Sorbet
Slow Cooked Pigeon
Glenvale Pork Loin and Apple-Wood Grilled Mishima Sirloin
So what do you wash all this down with… Well this is the list for that as well:
1988 Salon ‘S’ champagne, 2008 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru
1996 Domaine de la Romance-Conti
Romanee-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru
1961 Chateau Haut-Brion
1972 Oremus Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos
“ The Highlight of the Dinner is that the diners will receive The Jane Seymour — blue diamond ring. It is the only jewelry creation in the world named after Jane Seymour herself, and the celebrity had flaunted it in Singapore some months back during its unveiling. She wore a blue dress to complement the creation, and wasted no time in taking selfies before endorsing the masterpiece. The Jane Seymour boasts a 2.08 carat Fancy Vivid blue diamond ring, set in a rose-gold plated platinum ring, with flowers to emulate Seymour’s elegance and demeanor.” said to me personally by Karan TIlani.
One of the coolest things is that you will be dinning with Diamond Studded Chopsticks. They will have your names engraved on them. You will be seated in custom made designer chairs for the special occasion. There will even be a live band during the evening hired by World of Diamonds Group.
So how will it all end? The climax of the evening will be when you are presented with Louis XIII de Rémy Martin cognac at midnight. This will be followed by an incredible display of fireworks which they claim will be the luxurious and an envy of firework or pyro enthusiast around the world. “At CÉ LA VI, we live to create unique experiences that stimulate the senses, elevate the spirit, amplify passion and fuel the pursuit of pleasure. This ($2,000,000 dining experience) done conjointly with our esteemed partner, WORLD OF DIAMONDS Group, is the zenith of all experiences”, stated Mr David Sarner, CEO of CÉ LA VI Singapore.
