Whether it is the latest iPhone, a new piece of clothing, or even food, we have all felt the urge to splurge now and again. This comes as little surprise because we are constantly bombarded with online, print, and media ads that reinforce the shopping mentality. Indulging in occasional spending is not necessarily harmful when done in moderation and does not disrupt family finances.
