My wife said, “the card is on the tall dresser in our bedroom! Please hurry up and grab it, I don’t want to be late!”

I rushed up the steps into the bedroom, went straight for the tall dresser. I looked and did not see the card at first sight. So! I began to explore EVERY other place in my bedroom. On the floor, on the night stand, under the bed, in the closets! Before I knew it, 15 minutes had passed.

At this point, I was hot, confused and SUPER frustrated. Not to mention, we were now going to be late getting to our destination.

After wasting ALL that time, I finally decided to call in reinforcement (my wife). She came up stairs, walked to the dresser and picked the card right up! It was right under my nose and I didn’t recognize it.

How many of us are late to opportunities because we are wasting time, energy, and emotional Capitol looking all around for what’s right in front of us?

Reevaluate what you have right in front of you. A relationship, special gift, a certain passion, an instinct you tucked away because life demanded it. A business idea, or invention that will provide incredible value to the world.

Sometimes what we need may not be in front of our eyes but under our noses.
