Walking through campus

Going the Student Union, enjoying the rareness of a warm and sunny Akron day. As taking in the sites, noticed all the couples laying out holding hands, kissing, even the occasional butt touch. The couples had no worries not even color… walking through campus realizing that in today’s times interracial relationships are nothing new. People do not think twice anymore about it like they may have in 50’s and earlier.

When talking to someone about the topic of my blog they asked what personal experience do I have about this topic, after saying all of my relationships have been interracial, the person assumed that I have only been with white women and on the contrary I have only been in one actual relationship with a white female the rest have been Asian and Hispanic. I am pro interracial relationships but I do not like when people only think that you can only date one race if they do happen to be in this type of relationship.

I know that I said I was pro interracial relationship but something that grinds my gears and maybe I am biased about this since I am black but I do not like when people get into these type of relationships to just get “revenge” or to “to piss off daddy” Like girl don’t use me for that, to me that is just isn't cool. I have had a friend go through “to piss off daddy” he ended up getting heart broken.
