Yes. Following this operation where they discovered nothing, I self-diagnosed, literally whilst sitting in front of my new specialist – the 3rd of 3.

As I told him what I reckoned the problem might be, based on an ultrasound I’d had 3 months prior (I kept trying to say the thing I thought it logically was when I spotted it myself during said ultrasound but it fell on deaf ears), I looked at his framed bits and pieces up on the wall and I wondered again about logic.

He was so pleased with himself as he nodded and agreed that ‘Yes! That is precisely what it is!’ and, as he said this, all I could see was dollar signs sliding out of his mouth, down his chin and onto his beautiful mahogany desk.

So… yup.
