Sun Kissed Heart

Cause she was warmth

Even when my cold loveless soul was not

She was bright

All of her passed through my cracks

All of her light and those honey eyes

It was summer all year long

But only through her smile

Because when I made her cry

The sun cried too

Those hopeless shades of dark stood

No more flowery thighs

No more cold drinks and warm skins at noon.

Now she keeps the flowers alive

Somewhere else

And I

I believe in the God that made her

I believe in the earth that translates her

She made summer last for so long

That I almost forgot how winter tastes like

Like hope, lonely teas and drunk apologies

-For her that created with bare hands my whole universe.
