Figuring Out Life as A Vegetarian

I have had stomach issues my whole life as well, but since I hit 40, they have only gotten worse. And I have noticed that if I eat less meat, I feel better. So I am thinking of going full veggie.

The trouble is, I am not the best cook in the world. I am what I call a “serviceable” cook – I can cook the basic meat-and-veg meal for my family, but that is about it.

So I have always found vegetarian cooking to be quite intimidating…particularly the protein thing, because I am used to just adding chicken or whatever and bam, there is my protein.

So yeah, what I really want to know is: is vegetarian cooking really much harder, or am I making that up in my head because I am unfamiliar with it? (Anyone with answers, please help!)
