@ Vivyan Sarlas, clearly, this is one of the best online papers I have read on this subject in a long time. However, I would like to state that, no matter what, it is the Laws of the land that make all the difference. India, will fight LGBTQ issues in order to save patriarchy, as all societies have done in the past. But as you say, and I think it is true, that only coercive forces can finally make it happen, when existence of LGBTQ is accepted by Law without beating around the bush. And that, is a low hanging fruit, that forever, escapes being plucked and enjoyed. Thus, the caste system and along with patriarchy, prohibits, the procreation of same sex love and joy. It benefits them only.
