Yes. I lost my brother six years ago this May 13th. It was an ordinary day until my phone rang and my mother told me the sheriff had just been at my parent’s door with the news of my brother’s death. He’d shot himself. NO! I said. NO. Put dad on the phone. But it was true. And it hurts. I read your piece and I could feel your pain so accutely.
