With Medium, I respond to what I read because the stories are personal and powerful, which in turn inpires me to write my own stories. So far I haven’t had a lot of interaction, but there is always the feeling of possibility that my writing will reach more readers.

However, I feel as though the network could be more transparent. For example, when prompted to go to Medium, if there were a Table of Contents where I could see more of the content available, if for example, I was aware that there were two more stories by people I liked and don’t follow, this would create more of a sense of continuity, which would create more of a feeling of community, or more of a network. Also, like the Gawker model, responders becoming a community of their own would also enlarge the network.
