Chasing the dream…sucks.

It’s really not all that fun. From the outside looking in we’re “unemployed”, “lazy”, we “need a job” but by the same token everyone ADMIRES us for chasing our dream.

The recent deaths of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain have allowed me to realize that other dreamers have the same feelings I do.

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT STAGE YOU ARE AT.

IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MUCH MONEY YOU MAKE.

It doesn’t ever matter how “successful” you are.

We’re chasing something larger than ourselves. Larger than what “the world” has in store for us and the more I think about social, the more I wonder if it’s our demise as a society.

We compare our lives on doctored posts and fake moments. We don’t debate anymore, we pick sides and we hate (exactly what FB & TWTR want/need even if they don’t admit it.)

I don’t know 100% what the purpose of this story is…but I do know that the untimely deaths of Mr. Bourdain, Ms. Spade and my good friend up in NY don’t make sense…

The only thing that makes sense is that they fell into the same trap that I have. Comparing a dreamers LIFE to a non-dreamers life.

The two simply don’t compare.

Ponder on that for a minute.
