Why am I writing a book?

I agree with everything you wrote, Mike. We authors write because we have something to say and we need people to read it. It’s an art form and like any art you create for society. In my mind, if just one person read my [still to be published] book, and it impacted them in a positive way, where they can’t even imagine their life without having read it, then I’ve done my duty as an author (though of course I would love to impact more people).
