Very good article. I believe that the lack of sensitivity / understanding / insight that, as pointed out here, is still a major weakness of AI, can be also seen in human systems. Mindless bureaucracy, stubborn stereotypes are examples of that. They have been explored in literature. Think of Catch 22 by Joseph Heller or even The Trail by Franz Kafka. What is worrying though is that AI can spread so much faster.
