I cannot relate to this pain but it’s an experience I have always feared. It’s okay not to keep it together and take steps as you are ready. I do not see anything selfish about this post. I admire the fact you and your wife are willing to share your story knowing it may help someone else. I am so sorry for the pain you have experienced — but I’m happy you guys are handling it together and aided by your family and friends.
