If you do need more extensive work done and go back to the idea of insurance, make sure you check what it covers when. Every dental insurance I’ve ever had has had a system where they cover cleanings right way, but don’t cover more extensive work until you’ve had it for 6 to 12 months. That could potentially be a very expensive mistake to make.
