Last year I briefly dated someone who lived in Santa Barbara and every time I was there it seemed like there were tons of people who didn’t to have to work (not him or his friends, but random people). Or at least who weren’t at work during the day and were just eating elaborate lunches in expensive workout clothes on, like, a Thursday. I assume some of them were tourists but it really made me want to get on the rich-lady-who-lunches lifestyle
