This system does not work for all people. And you have not written about MAINTAINING weight loss. 95% of dieters of ANY SYSTEM regain weight lost within 2 months to 2 years. Furthermore, many people have trouble with low-carb eating to the point that no matter how much they eat, their body temperature and pulse rate drops, and they develop symptoms of hypothyroid — tired, hair loss, body pain, constipation, etc…. Gastritis is another condition from ingesting too much fat without enough starch to get the body warm enough to “cook” and digest properly.
The bottom line is: ANY diet signals the body that restriction is putting the system in danger of starvation. The metabolism slows significantly after a short time, and you get stuck in a yo-yo situation. Eating the same amount of food with a supressed metabolism will results in the weight being regained, and the metabolism permanently damage- on heightened mode to slow down immediately in case of any future diets. (it used to be called “plateau”)
The best diet: is one you’re not on. If you want to lose weight, consider how you gained it in the first place. It was probably the result of stress or a stressful event in your life that made you eat, not from hunger, but to fill a “hungry heart”. Stress relief, before deciding if you are hungry can help you to listen to your body’s NATURAL needs for hunger AND thirst.

Diets don’t work- except temporarily — and they result in more people gaining weight eventually instead of losing weight permanently. And worst of all, then people and the diet industry blames them reprehensibly and inaccurately — to make more money on people coming back and trying yet another diet or exercise program to have the perfect body- causing MORE stress. A vicious cycle is created.
