Your very honest story is very brave- and I hope you are proud of yourself for admitting you are “human”…
My question is this: were you pushing yourself in all your endeavors at school, and not giving yourself the time for calm, and relaxation? It sounds like the lack of balance -all or nothing, is actually part of an eating disorder mindset.
Research has shown that restorative or VERY gentle yoga (most on your back, focusing on breathing) has been extremely effective in re-establishing a loving relationship with your body — the way it is…
I wish you success in your journey to manage this very difficult condition- keep writing and show others that you can always get back , even after falling off the wagon….
