Beliebers and Shotties!

The “Shots” photo app is now available for both Apple and Android devices.

In celebration of the app launching for Android devices, we’re having a contest. Entering the contest is super easy and you get the awesome chance to win Justin Bieber’s basketball jersey (how awesome is that?)—all you need to do is follow all of the steps listed below.

1. Download the Shots app onto your Apple (App Store) or Android (Google Play Store) device.
2. Create an account on Shots if you don’t already have one.
3. Connect your social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr) to Shots.
4. If your Shots username is different from your Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr username, please list the usernames for your other social media accounts in your “Shots” bio.
   EXAMPLE: The CEO and co-founder of Shots, John Shahidi’s Shots and Twitter usernames are different. His shots username is ‘Johnny’ and his Twitter username is ‘John.’ If he’s entering the contest, his Shots bio would be/include “Twitter: @John”
5. Follow your favorite artists (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande), YouTubers (Justin Bryte, Alyssa Shouse, JeffreyFever), Viners (KingBach, Nash Grier, Carter Reynolds), and the founders of Shots (John and Sam Shahidi). You can find an entire list of Shotties to follow on the ‘Friends’ page; a list of ‘Staff Picks’ will be there. Oh and obviously… follow your friends! Feel free to use the messaging feature to tell your friends how great they look in their photos.
6. Follow @johnny (@John on Twitter) and @sammy (Twitter), and @shots (Twitter) on the Shots app and Twitter.

7. The Selfie:
   — Take a Selfie!
   Feel free to get creative and do some awesome stuff! (The following suggestions are optional and not mandatory).
   1. You can take your selfie with an awesome sign that says ‘Get Shots’ or that says anything that promotes the app—this is optional—but, it’d be super cool to see how creative you can get!
   2. Take a selfie with your friends.
   3. Do your best ‘Bieber face’
   4. Think of any other way you be can creative.
   — Once you’re satisfied with your shot, it’s time to either your flip your shot/adjust the brightness, or directly go to the next step.
   — Time to caption your photo! (All the guidelines below are MANDATORY—you MUST follow and include each step).
   1. Include the hashtag #GetShots.
   2. Convince people to download the app! (Some people don’t know that the app is available for Android devices, so let’s spread the word, together). You can say something along the lines of “#GetShots — the app is now available for both Apple & Android Devices! More info: shots.com”
   3. Share your selfie to all of your connected social media networks (Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr).
   4. Tweet about the Shots app and convince your friends who are non-Shots users to get the app (also include the #GetShots hashtag in your tweet).

POSTING YOUR SELFIE BREAKDOWN:
You must post a selfie in the Shots app. You must have the hashtag #GetShots + a message convincing others to get the app (mention that the app is available for both Apple and Android devices). It is also mandatory for you to share your selfie onto another social network, as well as tweet about the Shots app.

You can only post one photo a day, which will result as one contest entry a day.

The Prize
Smile and take your shot + promote the app for a chance to win Justin Bieber’s 2014 BET Celebrity Basketball Game Jersey! (See pictures of the jersey HERE. Many of you have also asked if it’s the actual jersey he wore. Yes, it is the exact same jersey that he wore. No, it is not a replica).
— This contest is open worldwide. (If this changes, we will make adjustments to this post and announce it).
— You will only be eligible for a chance to win the jersey if you complete all of the contest’s steps.
— There will only be one winner—everyone has a fair chance.

The contest will end September 1, 2014. (Contest entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered).
