Back in June of 2018 Elon Musk sent out a tweet, asking the Twitter sphere what they would like to see in a Truck.

Needless to say, the suggestions came flooding with an astonishing 26K+ comments, and Elon definitely took note.

Looks very flat. No wheel humps.

Bed Cover, check!

Air compressor. ✅

Elon kept on listening to ideas:

Utility ports for charging battery operated tools.
On-board power inverters for supplying both 120 and 240-Volt electricity, allowing use of power tools. CyberTruck is the generator.

CyberTruck is the generator.

Portable consumer devices could be run on AC power to run various electrical equipment & tools.

Camper shell with roomy cab for trips.

Adjustable suspension from the 16” off-ground clearance. Fully adjustable 4” up or 4” down.

As attested by Quinn Nelson of ‘Snazzy Labs’, YouTube Channel, who happens to be 6’4”, this truck is *VERY* roomy, his knees still didn’t touch the drivers back seat.

Musk even stated online, “In fact it would be able to fit Andre the Giant!”

Strong as the 30x cold-rolled steel from a Starship, to make a very strong exoskeleton.

About that body — tough. Artistic too. In fact inspired by a bit of ‘Blade Runner’’s Syd Mead’s own artwork, as Elon had previously stated that, to Recode’s Kara Swisher, “The truck would look like something out of ‘Blade Runner.’”

Syd Mead called the Cybertruck “stylistically breathtaking.”

He seems to be a fan of Elon Musk & Tesla, just as much as Elon is a fan of Syd.

Prior to the CyberTruck, the 2014 article from the ‘Hollywood Reporter’, Syd remarks on Tesla and Elon’s futuristic/ forward thinking excellence.

Traveling into the future, the range is impressive too: 250, 300, or 500 miles.

Elon with a little bit of silly exaggeration, given all the excitement, stated the final towing capacity to end up being realistically 14,000lbs.

Off road capabilities, checked out too:

On-Road Performance isn’t bad either:

Price, — what about the price. Elon saw that request too:

CyberTruck starts at the same price as a Tesla Model 3: 39K, just like a customer requested.

Specs (Tesla.com):

Dimensions show it can fit 6 Musks or adults:

The 2018 tweet asking for truck comments isn’t the first time Elon mentioned the Truck, back in 2017 Elon made a few tweets about it.

Interesting enough talk of the Tesla Truck has been on the table since 2013, as mentioned by Elon in Futurism magazine.

One month after asking Twitter what people wanted in a Truck, Twitter asked Elon, a father of 5 preteen/ teen boys, to step in and help the spiraling-down emergency situation in Thailand. The Thai soccer Team, was trapped in a cave for numerous days with imminent rains coming to flood the whole cave system. People rightly panicked. It was a nightmare.

Ideas came in for subs even:

During all this Thai cave emergency and on top of the brutal model 3 ramp up, Twitter even asked Elon to fix the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.

The most interesting thing Elon listened to in spite of all this, was making these trucks emergency vehicle ready, because exactly one month after Elon really listened to the 26K+ comments on Twitter about the CyberTruck he participated in helping with the Thai Soccer Team with the SpaceX engineer designed sub.

Cybertruck has been designed to meet many needs. It could have assisted at the mouth of the cave to help save those Thai boys, allowing anyone with the Tesla truck to offer assistance.

In all of this, we got a truck worthy of a true ‘Hero’, and if Elon isn’t a selfless ‘Hero’ who in the midst of his own stress and overwhelming life tasks, gives of his time and resources, I don’t who you could claim is. Utterly unselfish on all accounts, and now the Tesla CyberTruck has been designed to assist such ‘Heros’.
