Bam, right on!

I’m 65 and I’ve been trying to explain your point to some of my contemporaries who inexplicably turned into hand-wringing, judgmental, grumpy old farts while I wasn’t keeping an eye on them.

We are the hippies, I remind them, the peace and love, flower power, free love, do-your-own-thing generation, for Christ’s sake! We didn’t trust anyone over 30. Now we shake our heads in disgust at everyone under 40 and many of us PROUDLY refuse to learn anything new, starting with IT.

I think we Boomers have turned out to be the most confused pain-in-the-ass generation in history, annoying others from our cradles to our graves.

My wife and I happily play with our smart phones in restaurants just to annoy the old folks.

Sorry, you got me on my rant. I just wanted to applaud your insightful piece. Now, I’ll head over to IHOP for the Senior Early Bird dinner specials and home again to hit the rack.
