School of Business to host KU Marketing Boot Camp

The School of Business is set to host Marketing Boot Camp, a new event bringing industry experts to campus. These experts will present on a wide variety of topics including marketing strategy, digital and social media marketing, and positioning and innovation.

Marketing Boot Camp will kick off Friday, Feb. 1, in 1020 Capitol Federal Hall. The event will begin with registration and breakfast and conclude with a boxed lunch.

The boot camp will highlight how marketing is executed in practice and also provide an opportunity to network with industry professionals.

This year’s schedule is as follows:

9:00–10:30 a.m.

Grant Gooding, founder & CEO at PROOF

Chris Kovac, founder of Kovac Digital, CEO of River Watch Beef

Dave Patrick, founder of High Performance Marketing Boot Camps

10:30–10:45 a.m.

Coffee Break

10:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

Alana Muller, founder of Coffee, Lunch, Coffee

Jack Mackey, president of Jack Mackey

The topics range from Gooding’s “The Science of Positioning Your Company to Win” to Alana Muller’s “High Performance Networking.”
