KYTE IS A COOL SOCIAL PLANNER
My co-founder Luis and I met in elementary school many years ago. I am a senior studying Entrepreneurship 💡 and Luis is junior working on his B.S. in Industrial Engineering 🔩. Our first product was Konvene—a social event planning app that would forever improve the way people shared events. Or so we thought. The app failed to get 👎🏻 traction, but we learned something important—we loved working together.
In October 2015, we decided we had to move to something different. We embarked in the search of someone who could add something else to our team and we encounter our third co-founder Yanis 🎨 With most planning apps on the market advertising ways to make planning easier and faster, we thought there was an opportunity to do something different. We wanted a place to share cool and creative plans with our friends.
We quickly got the first prototype up and running and continued to develop it throughout the following summer. We worked tirelessly with great input from close friends and family.
KYTE isn’t about planning the traditional plans everyone makes. It’s about communicating with the full range of human emotions — not just what appears to be pretty or perfect. Like when I want to show my friend what the girl I have a crush on will be doing tomorrow night 😏
