Why You Should Not Use Twitter For Corporate Customer Service: A Cautionary Tale
The Awl

I only use Twitter if there’s not an obvious way to contact the company. Like trying to get a Cisco router warranty returned, and the phone number on their website was 1–234–567–8910. Or Amazon, because I can’t find the right link to return something or report a shipment that didn’t show up.

Otherwise, yep. Call directly to the company, state your case, and wait in line.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
