Well said. As I mentioned, Agile as a term was used to characterize an emerging change to the way software development was done. Agile became a doctrine, a dogma, a cult around practices that were naturally occuring. Agile didn’t result in any new or innovative concepts or practices. It just collected them to sell through coaching and transformation programmes.
