WEEK 3: LEADERSHIP — #EDUBLOGSCLUB

The events of last weekend have me thinking of leadership and activism. Here’s some examples of leadership I’ve found inspiring, thought provoking, and encouraging. This post contains some political subject matter.

1. Stand boldly and start a conversation, even when it’s uncomfortable.

2. Convey trust, encouragement, and hopefulness. Empower others.

3. Address fears. Set a tone of inclusion. Open a discussion about next steps to take.

4. Use power for the benefit of others. Draw awareness to important issues and dangers relevant to sustained forward progress.

5. Educate and mentor.

6. Help others gather and find their voice.

7. Listen. Understand. Connect.

8. Leadership through the use of collaborative design. Openly share proven tools and best practices.
