One persistent issue I had over my years (now retired) was the ‘my nephew’ issue. Well, my nephew wrote this over the summer. “First job?” is my reply. Because there is so much wrong with the code I would need to write a script to count them. Or I could just count all the semicolons as every statement was wrong in some fashion. grep “;” *.c | wc -l
