The wounded alpha male is a sad thing. It is also dangerous in close proximity as its usual reaction to anything that doesn’t agree 110% with its views are responded to as an attack. While the attack might be valid the alpha male will respond by lashing out. Give them room and look upon them with pity. They know no other option. Humanity is an abstraction they have yet to comprehend.

I loved writing software. I am now retired and am thankful everyday that I never got into the upper echelons of corporate life. My old saying might still hold true: In corporate life there are two kinds of days, days you have enough drugs and days you don’t. Even if you drug of choice is alcohol.
