My opinion piece on Higher Education in Africa was published by Business Daily on 16th December 2022.

The piece notes the challenges facing higher education in Africa, and Kenya in particular.

The article also celebrates the Kenya Scholar Access Program (KENSAP), which has been providing opportunities for bright but needy African students to study abroad. So far, KENSAP has supported over 250 bright but needy Kenyan students to access quality education in some of the most prestigious universities in the world including Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Stanford, and Yale, with the total value of university financial aid they’ve generated since 2004 being more than KES 8.5 billion. This is commendable.
