Still happily using my 4

I’m still using my “shitty” iPhone 4 too! Unlike you Hank, I did have the original iPhone, and then the iPhone 3G. I no longer remember what issues I was having with the 3G, but they seemed significant enough at the time to warrant an upgrade to the iPhone 4. And boy, what a leap forward that was! Retina screen, great battery life, great camera… It has been a great phone for over 4 and a half years now, and is only just now starting to show signs of slowing down. When people find out I have a 4, they react as if I were using a Newton.

But alas, the writing is on the wall… no iOS8 support means that eventually we won’t be able to update old apps or download new ones. I’ve already started researching iPhone 6 cases…

End of an era…
