Kara Swisher: A Politician With An Avocation of Journalist?
New York Times Opinion Kara Swisher “likes” Twitter CEO Jack and is running for Mayor of San Francisco in 2023.
Kara is also a New York Times Opinion Columnist for the time being.
Kara Swisher uses twitter to beg Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to appear on her podcasts and with her at events.
Jack finds these visits “less irritating.”
When the event is a schmooze lovefest in a friendly environment it’s NOT really all that irritating.
Jack is a “pro” in the unbiased Kara Swisher’s opinion.
Jack is a “great entrepreneur.” And that seems true. Not many people start two pretty successful tech companies.
However he’s not a great CEO as measured by stock price.
A CEO’s highest duty is to protect the investments of his investors. $TWTR today trades at $35.18.
That’s down from a high of $69.00 all time and a high of $36.05 when the opening bell rang on July 1, 2015. July 1 was the day Jack formally returned to Twitter as acting CEO.
@delbius, Del Harvey, now VP, Twitter Trust & Safety needs a raise because she is funny.
Ex Twitter employee Mike Mintiero seems to disagree with with that assessment. Mike has called for Jack to resign and writes of Twitter,
Twitter works like a giant depressed brain. It can’t tell right from wrong, and it can’t tell big from small. It needs help.
Liberals used to concentrate about unchecked concentrations of power but now worrying about the major tech industry concentrations of power makes you “stupid” according to Kara Swisher.
Kara disagress with at least one highly qualified attorney.

When openly abusive twitter bully Randi Lee Harper wrote her “Putting out the Twitter Trashfire” Opus on Medium Kara helpfully forwarded that post right to CEO Jack Dorsey.
That was kind of Kara though Twitter Safety probably already had that article as Randi worked with Twitter Safety and has/had a Non Disclosure Agreement with them.
Randi, who tried to shut Candace down, seems to be able to abuse whomever she wants on Twitter.
Randi tweeted to Candace, then on her Social Coroner account about shutting her down.
Who elected Randi the internet police?
Randi Lee Harper even comes with her own mob of harassers.
Randi openly boasts of having people in Congress.
Randi tweets she is in a privileged position.
Who those “people” in Congress might be remains a mystery.
Randi tweets that she wants “feminism” in code, and is an activist for that inclusion in code.

So are conservatives being silenced by social media? Tech Ambassador to the Stars™ Kara Swisher thinks not.
However Randi also tweeted that Twitter was shadowbanning and that the practice exists.
Randi helpfully explains that low quality tweets, ie spam, is a subjective measurement.
Randi was so bold as to hack a Twitter account and live tweet the content.
Randi also solicited “Oauth tokens” from others so she could conduct her illicit research on Twitter.
What is “Oauth” I can hear you say.
OAuth is a standard that applications (and the developers who love them) can use to provide client applications with “secure delegated access”. OAuth works over HTTP and authorizes Devices, APIs, Servers and Applications with access tokens rather than credentials, which we will go over in depth below.
What Does OAuth Do?
OAuth is basically a protocol that supports authorization workflows. What this means is that it gives you a way to ensure that a specific user has permissions to do something.
So basically Randi asked others for their secure logins to research Twitter which almost certainly breaks several Twitter ToS provisions related to developer TOS and privacy.
Yet she was rewarded with a Non Disclosure Agreement AND relative impunity to abuse whom she wished.
Jack also wants you to believe that he takes your Safety and Privacy seriously yet that is belied by whom Twitter contracts with.
Randi is considered a reliable source with an opinion that must be tweeted to Jack from Kara Swisher.
That’s a bit strange as Randi has a history of doxing people. A fact noted by Louise Mensch a few months after Kara Swisher tweeted Randi’s medium post to Jack.

You seem to be hit and miss on the identification of political operatives.
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is set to testify before House Commerce on 9/5/2018 to explain to Congress and observant, inquisitive people what his algorithm is and does.
Congress should call Randi Lee Harper to testify as well. And whomever at Twitter gave her a non disclosure agreement.
And Google should also probably send their CEO.
Kara Swisher just wants the Hoi Polloi to shut up.
